Students Turning their Gambling Online?

Gaming

As we here at Casino Snob can all recall, college students are one demographic that surely enjoys the thrill of gaming in casinos. The young, fun loving, risk taking lifestyle fits snugly with the action and excitement of a night out in a swanky locale, pressing your luck and enjoying a martini. It should come to no surprise then, that a recent study shows that students are also warming up to having a night in while gambling.

Ohio State University conducted a survey of around 3,500 students and their gambling habits, resulting in 14 percent admitting to have participated in online gambling. Experts suggest that televised poker tournaments have been pivotal in spurring interest in online games, sending the number of online casino and poker sites soaring from fewer than 25 sites 11 years ago, to its current amount of over 2,000.

If its legal where you are, then have a good time, but remember, next semester's tuition is NOT a part of your bankroll.
