The Power of Gaming, in the Palm of your Hand

treo.jpg

So your at the Venetian, your wife has told you that she absolutely MUST go see the shops, and you have no alternative but to go along with her. As you are being dragged from one shoe store to another, all you can think about is getting back to that gaming table and continuing your hot streak. But sadly there's nothing you can do.... until now!

The Venetian is about to trial a new program using PDAs to serve up gaming wherever you are within its vast property!

This year, field trials will begin at the Venetian Hotel-Casino for the nation’s first mobile gambling devices, handheld gadgets that will enable guests to play video slots, poker, blackjack and roulette from almost anywhere on the property.

The development promises to be the next big innovation in casino technology since the advent of coinless slot machines, an opportunity to allow gamblers to keep playing through lunch at the buffet, during a meeting in the convention center or perhaps while waiting for "Blue Man Group" to start.

Now, you can only play in public places, as that is what the law allows, so sadly no gaming in your room just yet. But you'll be too busy watching your wife model her new shoe collection to game anyway, right?
