Casino Cocktail Friday -- Martinis and Baccarat

We've already taken a look at Baccarat this week, and so it only makes sense to have Casino Cocktail Friday at the Baccarat table. A very sophisticated combination of liquors, the Martini has been associated with class and style for decades. Whats more, these days you can get martinis of all shapes and sizes, and in a variety of flavors undreamt of in years past.
Baccarat also is a game of class. It has long been the favorite of the rich and famous, as well as a certain secret agent. The beauty of Baccarat is its simplicity. You have just three bets to choose from, and those who play know that really the only bet is to bet with the house, as it reduces the houses edge to a very small amount.
Read on to find out why we think the martini at the Baccarat table is a winning combination.
Classic Martini
2.5 oz Gin
.5 oz Vermouth
Olive as garnish
Vodka Martini
2.5 oz Vodka
.5 oz Vermouth
Olive as garnish
So simple, but so powerful. Its got a taste you grow to love. We like ours a little dirty (thats with some olive juice), but you can have yours as clean as you like. The Martini is a mainstay of cocktails everywhere, and now there are as many variations as you care to discover. James Bond even has his own.

We prefer to order the martini early when we arrive at the table. We also throw an early tip to the dealer for good luck. This doesnt play into the raw numbers of how to win at Baccarat, but we don't care, the raw numbers say we will lose anyway. Yes, the only way to enjoy Baccarat is with a martini in hand, and with friends around you. Remember, the simplicity of the game is, you really only need to make one bet to have the best odds! You can get a little tipsy, and the rules won't confuse you at all.
Don't want a regular martini? Not a problem, heres a list of martinis you can get in many fine gaming establishments with decent bars:
The Apple Martini
The Chocolate Martini
The Blueberry Martini
As we said, the possibilities are endless.

If like us, you like to bring the casino home, nothing is as cool as a casio party. You get yourself some chips, and play for fun or money, all while enjoying the company of friends and a few drinks. We like to break out these sweet looking glasses when we're busting the Baccarat on our personal baccarat felt. Baccarat is dead simple to deal, and martinis are simple to make. It's the perfect combination for a great night.
There it is. Shaken, stirred, with grey goose, or ketel one, treat yourself and your friends to a top shelf martini and a few hands of Baccarat next time you're hitting the casino of your choice, and you'll be glad you did.
