A Hint of Style at the Poker Tables

We've all heard that the eyes are the window to the soul, but the truth is, the eyes are the window to your WALLET!

When playing in the many casino poker rooms around the world, its important to do everything you can to keep yourself sharp, and in a winning position. One of the best things you can do is to be aware of your tells, and try to alter them or outright prevent them.

Many players will tell you that your eyes can give away alot of information. It may be a furtive glance at your chips to count your stack before a big raise, or it may be that flicker of doubt that passes through your eyes when you stare down an opponent who is considering a call. No matter what the case, keeping your eyes concealed could mean the difference between a win, and a loss against an astute player. Here at the Casino Snob offices, we have been looking for some options for you to conceal your eyes, while still looking sharp, and letting people know YOU will be the one climbing in through the window.

Big Online Casino Bust in Missouri

FBI Bust
It seems that the crackdown on online casinos has begun, at least for BentonSports PLC.
ABC News has reported that a massive indictment has come down against BentonSports and its proprietors.

Internet gambling was dealt a major blow today when a federal grand jury returned a 22-count indictment against 11 people and four corporations on charges of racketeering, conspiracy and fraud, the Department of Justice announced.

Among those charged was one of the Web's most popular gambling destinations, BetonSports PLC, which owns several Internet casinos and sportsbooks, and the founder of BetonSports.com, Gary Stephen Kaplan, as well as BetonSports.com CEO David Carruthers..

GPS Technology Promises Solution for Online Casinos

The current problem in online casinos, and their legality, revolves around local governments wanting to be able to regulate gambling, much as is done on good ole' Terra firma. Unfortunately (for some), because an online casino lets you play from anywhere, the government has no way to get its share of the revenues. Enter Global Cyber Licencing LLC, and their technology-driven solution.

CasinoSnob.com RSS - Our Really Simple Syndicated Feed

We wanted to let you know you can read CasinoSnob.com everyday by either coming to the web site or by reading our RSS feed. We want to be able to deliver CasinoSnob.com in as many formats as possible so you can read it when, where and how you want.

RSS means Really Simple Syndication. To use it, you need an application on your computer that reads XML files. This application is called a feed reader or aggregator. Basically what happens then is this: you type in the address of the RSS feed you want updates on, and every time something new happens on that site, it just pops into your feed reader. No more traveling around to your favorite links to see if they've been updated, you just let the feed reader do it for you.

One of the easiest ways to read CasinoSnob.com is to add it to your My.Yahoo page. Click here to add it to your My.Yahoo page.

If you don't have a My.Yahoo page, you'll need a feed reader. We recommend FeedDemon for PC users and NewsFire for Mac users. However if you have a Macintosh you can use the built in Safari browser to read our feed. I use Safari myself and love it. You can also view it on the web using BlogLines.

Once you've installed it, copy the URL of any feed you want into the reader and you're on your way.

We have also made it very easy to subscribe to the CasinoSnob.com Feed by using the options below:
