M Life Player's Club from MGM Resorts International
I was surfing a bit this morning and found an interesting post called Who Owns Las Vegas over at About.com's Casino Gambling blog. I've never had much need to join most of the casino loyalty programs since my trips to Vegas are so rare and spotty, but I thought the description of MGM's new M Life program was worth mentioning:
Right now, MGM Resorts is kicking off a casino loyalty program that rivals the old Harrah's program. Their new player's club, called "M life," will include a dozen properties. Your casino action will automatically be updated from every casino in the group, from the MGM Grand Detroit, the Beau Rivage and Gold Strike in Mississippi, to the company's nine resorts in Las Vegas. In case you lost track, the Vegas casinos include: Aria, Bellagio, Luxor, Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Mirage, Monte Carlo, and New York New York.
If you're on your way to Vegas anytime soon (or Detroit or Mississippi, but that seems less likely) it seems worthwhile to
sign up since I can almost guarantee you'll end up at one or more of these casinos during your stay.
